Wu Lu (鲁 武) received his Ph.D degree in physical electronics and optoelectronics from Southeast University, China, in 1994. Before he joined Ohio State, he was a Postdoctoral Research Engineer at Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute (ETRI), Korea, from 1995 to 1996, a Research Fellow at Microelectronics Center, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 1996 to 1998, and a Research Associate at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), from 1998 to 2001. He has authored and co-authored over 100 technical papers in referred journals and conferences. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of OSA and AAAS.
