720 Low-Power Mixed-Signal VLSI Design

2. CATALOG DESCRIPTION

Low voltage low power analog design for mixed analog/digital VLSI systems in CMOS technologies, OpAmps and

comparators, sample and hold, switched capacitor filters, Nyquist and oversampling converters, decimation filters,

applications in baseband wireless communications, integrated sensors.

Prereq: 323 or grad standing.

3. PREREQUISITES BY TOPIC

Familiarity with small and large signal transistor models both bipolar and MOS, knowledge of transistor biasing techniques,

use of computer circuit simulators, knowledge of VLSI technologies is recommended but not mandatory
